  • About Miriam Galindo

    A licensed clinical psychologist and social worker, Dr. Miriam Galindo operates out of a private practice in Irvine, California. She works primarily with children and families involved in high-conflict divorce situations and often implements art and play therapy to help younger individuals process their thoughts and feelings. Dr. Miriam Galindo also serves on a professional panel of approved experts for the Orange County Superior Court.

    During her training, Dr. Miriam Galindo completed an internship at CPC Psychiatric Hospital in Santa Ana and pursued further educational and work opportunities through Parents United/Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program. She also worked at CSP, Inc., where she provided outpatient care to high-risk individuals, and at Olive Crest Treatment Center, a level-12 group home with six beds. In this role, she worked with abused and neglected children from ages 4 to 12.

    As an undergraduate, Dr. Galindo studied psychology at Chapman University. She continued her education with a master’s degree in social work at California State University, Long Beach, followed by a doctoral degree in psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies.
